In addition to playing with the MN Sinfonia, Liz performs with the Minnesota Opera Orchestra and as first violinist in the Alpine String Quartet.
Liz has performed in many professional orchestras including Concertmaster of the West Palm Beach Symphony, Opera, and Florida Ballet. She played section first violin in the Naples Symphony, Miami Chamber Orchestra, and Charleston Symphony and Chamber Orchestras.
She studied music at MacPhail with Mary West as a child, Howard Beebe at Ohio University, and at the U of M with Roland and Almita Vamos. She won the prestigious Congress of Strings Competition where she sat as Concertmaster under Rafael Druian at the Cincinnati Conservatory.
Liz is also passionate about tennis, hockey, triathlons, and thanks God for giving her the blessing of classical music.
She teaches at her home in Shoreview and welcomes serious students who want to be in GTCYS or MYS.
