2017 Youth Outreach Week

It’s time to sign up for Sinfonia’s 2017 Youth Outreach Concert!
Featuring Dvorak’s Symphony No. 8

Be one of 45 top talented young musicians to experience a “week in the life” of a professional musician!

Participate in a week of intensive orchestra rehearsals,
then join the MN Sinfonia Orchestra in performing a concert at the
beautiful Lake Harriet Bandshell in Minneapolis!

How To Participate

Who gets in?
Advanced music students up to age 19, with a teacher recommendation. Participants must be at ALL rehearsals AND the concert.

Where do we rehearse?
At Church of the Annunciation, 509 W 54th St, Minneapolis

How much does it cost?
The program is FREE!

How many get in?
Only a limited number are accepted, so please respond ASAP—first come, first accepted!

July 17 & 18 Rehearsal (7-10 p.m.): All students with conductor Jay Fishman and Sinfonia principal strings
July 19 & 20 Rehearsal (7:00-9:30 p.m.): All students with the full Sinfonia
July 21 Concert at 7:30 (Sound check 7:00): at Lake Harriet
