A Note
From the Conductor
What
a pleasure to be able to greet you with a sense
of thanks and excitement not only for this past
season, but also for what certainly will be a great
upcoming year. I am sure most of you were at some
of this past season’s
performances and will agree with me that our
musicians are amazing! What a joy to work with
such quality people!! Looking
to our upcoming season, the schedule looks to
be even better. We have a line-up of great soloists,
terrific programs and lots of schools (we are
aiming for 26 Minneapolis and St. Paul public
schools). All in all, we are preparing ourselves
for another great season. Do make sure to mark
your calendars, and remember that the concerts
at the Basilica of Saint Mary will start at 2pm
and take place on Saturday afternoons. Also,
please be aware that the Temple Israel performances
will start at 4pm on Sundays. So pack up the car
with your family and friends (yes, of course bring
the kids), and remind your neighbors to do the
same. As always, all concerts will be free of admission
charges!! I look forward to seeing you soon. Until
