Nightingale CD!
Keeping with its family tradition, the Sinfonia's
new CD is music for children that everyone
can enjoy. Conductor/composer Jay Fishman's
musical settings of Hans Christian Andersen's The
Emperor's New Clothes and The Nightingale have
been deemed a
smash hit, great fun and exciting...for children,
their parents and everyone in between.
Featuring the Sinfonia, Loren Fishman (only
a slight relation) as the narrrator, and
Yuri Merzhevsky playing the solo violin as
the Nightingale, these recordings are sure
to provide hours of lasting pleasure and
entertainment. And, each work has two versions
- one with the narration, and a second without
- so that the listener can chose to listen
to the original orbe creative and make up
a new story.
