
Winter Series
The Winter Concert Series consists of classical programs performed in comfortable neighborhood venues throughout the Twin Cities. Showcasing accomplished guest soloists from around the world, these concerts feature well-known orchestral repertoire as well as new works by American composers.
All winter concerts are offered free of admission charges, and families are encouraged to bring their children. Concert sites include the Basilica of St. Mary and Temple Israel in Minneapolis, Metropolitan State University and First Covenant Church in St. Paul. Summer Series
The Summer Concert Series features classical repertoire and award-winning guest soloists. Concerts take place in scenic outdoor settings such as Lake Phalen Regional Park in St. Paul and Lake Harriet Bandshell in Minneapolis.
The Minnesota Sinfonia reserves one week of its Summer Concert Series for the annual Summer Youth Concert. This program provides 25 of the area’s most talented young musicians the opportunity to experience a “week in the life” of a professional musician. Students participate in a week of intensive orchestra rehearsals, culminating in a joint concert with Minnesota Sinfonia musicians at Lake Harriet in Minneapolis.
